The van is a blue 4-Wheeler, with the words Fintas & Fintas, Import Export, New York, Paris, Sapadores (Where they live). Fintas is their surname.

The bar doesn't have a name, but they have a steady barmaid, and the character correspondent to Mike.

Instead of Peckham, they live in Sapadores, a poor borough of Lisbon. The building chosen to portray Nelson Mandela House (it has the same name in "O Fura-Vidas") is one of the few tall buildings in that part of Lisbon.

Pirilampo is always called Piri not so much because of the size of the word but because the producer had a thing with petit-nons.

Trigger is Called Pirilampo (Glow- Worm) this is due to the quote below:

Joca- Why do they call him Glow-Worm

Quim- Because he's always appearing and disappearing

Isabela was originally Isabel. Isabel is a very common Portuguese name. Isabela is not. The producer changed it to allow her to be called "Bela" in some episodes (the ones in which some of the characters call her "Rachel" in the original show. Like in Class of 62).

The Second  Series of O Fura - Vidas began on 8th November 2000 and was being shown on SIC at 22:30 (CET) every Wednesday.

SIC will be showing the entire series again with special episodes from Christmas 2001
